  So today  I got myself a new book the The Story of the Guides by Col. G. J  Younghusband . My next one well be The History of the Indian Mountain Artillery .  8)  Willie

 Well Major Lovett's book came today and its not a bad little book  It covers 72 of his prints It makes a great reference book If you are lucky to get the postcard of his uniforms . You can use this as a guide . Second is The War of the Two Brothers The Portuguses Civil War 1828-1834 . Willie

  OK just dusted off the old page and now its up date time :o   While I was on my Amazon page trying to figure out where my orders are. >:(  I came across this ADD. wanted ships captains for the Every Green Shipping Company must be able to run a ground in daylight stay out of the channel and stuck in the mud for a month ::)  While on my page I came across this new book Major Lovetts Military Dress and Filed Uniforms of the Raj printed in March of this year.       So I bought it and I am looking forward to looking at it . I have always wanted his book well they have one on Amazon books 1911 issue only $221.00  :o  In May I should be getting to MAA books from Osprey Medieval  Indian Armies and Italian Colonial Armies . Also this week I should be getting Volume #4 of Soldati d Africa 1930 -1939 . One more to go Volume 5 1939-1943  ;D  Willie

Just got this today Zweybrucken in Command The Reichsarmee in the Campaign of 1758 By Helion & Company  By Neil Cogswell . Its a nice book with lots of information on these Armies. The Uniform plates are from that era with a section on uniforms of the different states. With all the 7 years War figures there are you could have a nice selection  8)  Willie

 My Osprey Man At Arms Yugoslavian Army 1945-1945 came and its nice and well done.  The next two that I want to see are Medeval Indian Armys Hindu. Buddhist . Jain  Italian Colonial Army You can see these both on the Osprey page Man At Arms. Next from Helion & Company Saarbruck to Sedan  The Franco German War 1870-1871 Volume 1 the Imperial Phase of the War nice and lots of information on the German Army . The Second volume 2 well come out in March 22 The Republic Fights Back I well say one thing about Helion & Company they have some of the most interesting books on the 16th 17th 18th 19th century and there other series  are nice to.  There are two major things about warfare in the 16-18th century . Money and food  :o you had to have deep pockets ;D  Willie

 So I went to the Casemate page and found this information  Between 1940-1945  The Diamond T Motor Car Company supplied just over 50.000 Vehicles to the US Military and also the Allies  Off this just over 30,000 were heavy 4 ton 6x6 of various types  They also made the famous halftrack 10,000 produced

 Hannibal yes I have a lot of Books the other half of the library trains and the Circus which my Brother has   I have been very lucky to have the life I have had. With a family that loved books and growing up in a show biz family. Some day I am going to write a book about it. I think the count is about 1200 books :o  Willie

 Well hope everybody had a great Christmas and a Happy new Year so lets start with Helion & Company  It looks like in spring 2022 there well be a new Wars and Soldiers in the Early Reign of Louis XIV Volume 6 the Italian States. 2.  The Ottoman Army in the Napoleonic Wars 1798-1815 . Charles X Wars Volume 1 and in the spring of 2022 Volume 2  Third is From The Atamcama  to the Andies  Battles of the Pacific Wars 1878-1883 this I think is going to be a one from prints to use to paint by since this period is right after the Franko German War 1870-1871  Willie
