OK last is Armies of the ear of 1812 by Gabriele Esposito geared towards war games but still good information on uniforms and then the century of the soldier series by Helion & Company  some neat titles So good reading

OK here we go :o  First is Soldati d Africa Vol 1 Four more to go lots of information on the Italian Army in Africa . Next is Canadian Military Heritage all 3 volumes a nice set. Next would be Guns of the Gurkhas lots of information on there weapons.For are ancient readers The Chariot by Arthur Cotterell  very informative. The art of Renaissance Warfare by Stephen Turnbull. For the Naval group  Die Uniformen der k.k.later under kuk later,-ungar Kriegsmarine 1797-1918 by Erwin Steinbock nice book

Yes, Christoph it is the Wagner's work.
I have it in German language, bought at the and of the 1970's years "Ars Bella Gerendi" was the title at that time.
Really an amazing work on the soldiers life of the TYW time.

Hello Willie,
is "European Weapons & Warfare 1618-1648" written by Eduard Wagner? If yes this is a reprint of an old book from around 1960 and still one of the best books you can get on this subject!

 From a Bunker hidden deep in the Earth of VA I bring my latest book up date. I now have a copie of European Weapons & Warfare 1618-1648 HB to replace my PB one. The Art work in much better in this book ;D Next is Outline of English Costume By Doreen; Yarwood, A nice little book for English Costumes. Now for are 19th century American painters  American Horse Drawn Vehicles By Jack D Rittenhouse . I went threw this and showed my Daughter. Most of the equipment I had seen as a kid . As' I got older I cleaned them and my Dad let me drive a couple. I think that I knew ever wagon in  Western Movies.  :o If you are interested go on the Web and look for Fat Jones Stables. Last is Hinterland Warriors; and Military Dress By Thomas S Abler.. So that's about it for now hope you are keeping safe and are in good health. Yes I would go back to work in the movies with my Father ;D in a heart beat.Willie

Well its the new year :o and new books ??? First is something I picked up at the book sale Guns of the Gurkhas by John Walter printed in 2005 This book covers most of the weapons used by them up to the end of the second World War. Second is a book in Russian. Its a kids book about the Russian Navy uniforms got it from Amazon. PYCCKNN BOEHHO-MOPCKON KOCTIOM.Third is from Osprey Radiers from New France Elite series. Fourth Armies of the Great Northern War 1700-1720 and Australian Bushrangers 1788-1880 Man At Arms series. Fifth is from Helion & Company The Armies and Wars of the Sun King 1643-1715 Volume 1 2&3 well be out these year by Rene Chartrand and volumes 2&3 of Armies and Enemies of Louis XIV 1688-1714. Lots of information on these Armies . Willie

Ok I just received this one today😱It is a used library book and for the War of the 🌹 gang The Book of the Medieval Kinghts by Stephen Turnbull .Very nice art work on standards like Henry Second Duke of Buckingham and more it was printed 1985 . Well its that time of the year . The year is coming to an end :o  So I have come up with some ideas for Christmas My first one is British Empire Uniforms 1919-1939 by Edward Hallett. Next is a book in Russian about Naval uniforms PYCCKNN Boehho-Mopckon Koctiom maybe one of are Russian members can translated the name😊 Next Helion Publishing the century of the soldier.  Then Historie & Collection series on French Army Trucks 1914-1940 . Next is are old friends at Osprey . Casemate Publishing has some on US Army Vehicles and there markings . Willie

Well I Finley got the book River Gunboats An Illustrated Encyclopaedia by Roger Branfill Cook this is a outstanding book on this subjected so if you are looking for a Gunboat this has it. 8) Willie

Yesterday I was at the Williamsburg muster a War games convention and found this in used books The Achaemenid Persian Army by Duncan Head published by Montvert  pub . This series was based on a Osprey's men at arms .This book is packed with lots of information and color plates for you painters. Second is Prussian Infantry 1808-1840 Volume 1 by Summerfield printed by Partizan Press brand new .The Third is The English Civil War  Recreate in color pictures by Chris Honeywell it is one of the Europa Militaria Special #4.So this should keep you busy
