Well where to start! had the best time, with good friends, meet my very dear German friends who i only have the pleasure every two years, saw Nick get his Gold gong! boy where we all pleased for him!! stayed in the nicest little town ever with the most hospitable owners who went out there way to be, even putting on a special meal for us!! and putting up with all of our laughter and banter!
I think it goes to say if you haven't been to Kulmbach, then its time to think about it, combine it with a Holiday etc, you will not be disappointed! great flats, even got a couple of mohr flats that i hadn't seen before!
Roll on 2015. P.S a Big thank you to my mates Brian & Chris for the driving!! thanks Guys,
and all those responsible for putting on an event like Kulmbach! a big thankyou!

All back from a great time in Kulmbach went to quick.
Loads of flats to see and buy, had strain on the wallet after all we had to have money for beer and food. Mans can not survive on flats alone
Thank to all the organizers of the show and the trades. every flat figure collector should go.
As for the trip there was bowling, beer, plane, car, heated discussion
, lovely accommodation. We even got the owner into trouble with his wife because he let us drink till late.
Brian did his networking.
Nick got his gold.
Gerry new every one there.
Frank walked to the Plassenburg and it was closed.
Martin looked around in wonder.
Me i spent ££££ on figures enjoyed the food but did not drink the beer
So roll on 2 years time.
I have loads of photos to sort though. I took photos of every flat in the competition and others.

Good for Nick who was also finding the time to do a good turn for me in rounding up some figures...
I am glad the Event Judges had the good sense to recognize such a nicely painted figure, not to mention GOLD which is pretty sweet.
Does the award come with a title as well? Sir Nick..Duke of Zinn...Lord Fancy Brush or some such?
The mind truly whirls...

Good to meet up with lots of friends from other society's and a very very big thank you to the organisers and people of Kulmbach who made us more than welcome. It is very much appreciated and I look forward to seeing you all again there in 2 years. Can't wait
