In October 1913 in the City of Leipzig 8 Lions escaped from a horse - drawn Circus - Wagon. 6 Lions shot by police, 2 were recaptured. You can read more about this incident on wikipedia, there are a few pics too

A "Annual figure" will only be given to the Members of the society, which are members in the year of the edition. I have tried for a few years to get a cast, and luckily last Kulmbach I could get one with the friendly help from a collector friend, who has seen them offered on a table in the big tent....
