Sorrowful news - however thank you, Erich!
May we know how the figures are marked on the plinth - I mean what letters are the mark of the Jantz figures?

Sandor,
I search for the moulds for some  months. Could unfortunately find no information until now.All the figures I could get are from Kulmbach, second Hand, Ebay or the Berliner Shop.

There are really nice figures in the Jantz-catalogue!
And also of rarely covered topics - hunting, angling, forestry wokrs etc.

It would be nice to get information about the availability of the figures - i.e. where the moulds are.

Dear all,

thanks to my friend Erich I can share with all of you  the Jentz catalogue.

Unfortunately we don't know where the moulds are, but I can tell you (i have a few sets) that they are really well engraved.

Thank you, Claudio
I own a catalog and sometimes I get a few figures from Ebay or Berliner.

Have some more Jantz - Figures  here to paint but at this time I am very busy to paint mynew series "Chichimeca War"   and complete a short article for "Die Zinnfigur"
Hopefully I can show both in the Juni - Issue ....
Erich

Can you share here a pdf version of the catalog? When you have time, indeed!
Thanks,

Claudio

Nice painting Erich!
I’ve many figures from Jantz, but not a catalog…perhaps someone in this blog could help to find a catalog and the molds!

I have not shown anything here for months for various  reasons but have been busy and will show my figures in the following weeks
First a group from my small collection of Jantz - Figures (Reinfelder Zinnfiguren)  -   Setting off to hunt ca. 1450 is the title in the catalog

Unfortunately I could not find out where the moulds are today - if anyone has an information it would be very helpful
