Thank you, C.T. Yes. I suppose it's because of the depth of the bookcase that you get the better 3D effect.
the one disadvantage of putting flat figure's into frame's

It came out quite well, Nick. I actually like it better in the photo with the wooden backdrop.

Thank you Patrick, it is a great figure to paint, which makes it a lot easier.

Very well done, Nick. This is a great figure and you've done it justice. Congrats!

Now that's a brilliant idea, Wolfgang, I'll get a pair of those 3D glasses from that nice Cinema company Miramax, that should help!!!

Thank you all.
The hair does look slightly flat ( this was Eric's department
) but it may be just the photo with the light
With the mane, I may try to curve the edge slightly, this could help, and darken the rear of the tail a bit more to pull it back
Overall I don't feel it's that bad an effort

The figure is really very nice
One could only regret the rather flat hair of the horse; but you can do nothing for that, it is the engraving
Roger thanks to associate me to Nick, but I have no responsability at all in the result; it's all Nick !!
