Martina, Ralf, you were right as W. Unger answered me the figure belongs to the series 13 Vorstellung des Paukenswagen der kursächsichen Artillerie im Zeithainer Lager 1730.

Martina is right. The man is from saxony arround 1730. I have this in my collection: engraver Werner Otto, editor Wolfgang Unger (WU). It is in 30mm - but I think this man is availible larger (54mm). Editor Werner Otto?

this figure is a "Bockpfeifer" of tehe saxon artillery 1730-1735

I do not know the Producer. But I think it is a local Saxon one. May be a former Schulz figure. You can try to contact the Zinnfigurenfreunde Leipzig. Maybe they kann help you.

Hello Richard,
sorry, I don´t know where you can get this figure.
The instrument is a Bagpipe in german called "Bock". It was played mainly in eastern parts of Europe until the 19th century.
Carl Zinnfiguren has two figures playing such a bagpipe, Figure No. 812 and No. 815 in his catalog on page 106 in the PDF, see here:
