It took a minute or two for the penny to drop but I worked it out in the end.
Hopefully you'll find time to do some painting at the weekend and show us how you're doing.

Hi Rogers,
Yes I am that John of Hawk Miniatures.
And I do have Rafa's Leonidas current undercoated and stuck to a piece of card. Just hoping to get some time this weekend with the brushes and paint to get an undercoat on him.
But now I have stated this I can see Brian giving me a hard time
to make sure he progresses.

Welcome John, you'll get some good constructive advice here, have you you got a figure lined up?
Roger.
Edit, Oh yes perhaps one of Rafa's?

Just like to say hello, some of you all ready know me.. whether that's good or bad is a different matter.
But now I have joined I will have to get the brushes out and make a start on something... I have not painted a flat before so we will see what happens.
Cheers
John

I'll join Nick in welcoming all the new members.
Please take a minute or two to introduce yourselves and tell us a bit about your interests... and if it includes collecting/painting flats all the better.
Roger.
