30mm or bigger?

well as for the sizes one must take into account there are more than 100.000 different flats of 30mm (incl. 28mm) scale but to my rough estimate only 3 to 5000 flats of other scales, i.e. 20mm and larger than 30mm oday existing.

I also like 28mm war games figures lookout flat makers they produce some nice ones and in lots of periods. I started out with  Britain's  my grandmother got me hooked.

As for these I own some, mostly Perrys (retreat of 1812). But these are - except some Perry and others - to much out of scale (i.e. proportionally disabled  ). But as these are of same scale of 30mm flats (1/56) there are very nice buildings and carts and very detailed artillery etc. existing. In fact I have edited one coach, a "chaise de poste" to match the napoleonic post set of Thiel.

I am on a 75mm quadriconcept, then will go for a bust, and a 30mm in parallel

Actually I am painting flats since 2013, the ratio  30 mm/larger sizes( incl. busts) is around 3:1, and I believe both are very pleasant to paint and necessary.

Hm the next figures which I will be engraved will be three 30mm figures and a 50mm .... but painting I will probably a 75 mm figure.

My next figure will be either 30 mm or 45 mm,

Brain.  I like the 30s and have a lot to paint. I also like 28mm war games figures   lookout flat makers they produce some nice ones and in lots of periods. Following on from another thread  "All Lost" have you a preferred scale.
Is the 30mm figure loosing ground to the bigger figures that are now widely available?
