Forgot to mention "pinterest" has lots of information on Burgundian Banners and Heraldry in general. Free to join
the French on line library Galicia.bnf., has several rolls on Burgundian Heraldry hopefully one page is attached to this message.

 I have checked through the booklet by the Lance and Bow Society on the Burgundian army which shows a number of banners and standards in colour, none of which illustrate the one you mention. Jim was usually very careful with his research and I doubt he would have copied a banner without making sure of its origin.
I used to carry out research at the V&A museum in London and I can remember finding a book which details all the spoils captured by the Swiss during the Burgundian wars which gave in great detail written and photographic evidence of the items taken.
This I can remember included the tabards worn by the Burgundian Heralds and  other items of clothing and of course many of the banners etc., the other thing I cant member is the title of the book perhaps enquiries with the V&A Library might help.
I believe that the Museum at Lucerne has some relics of the battles and perhaps depending on how far you want to go, contact with the Swiss Model Society club might help as I believe that they are still active.
No doubt you have tried the web a simple start might be to ask for" Burgundian Banners captured by Swiss" ,that should throw something up.
Not much help I know but simply suggestions.

After look at two books on HERALDRY I came up with nothing   it does not mean it could not have been a city . I even look at my Medieval Costume and Armor and Weapons by Wagner and  Durdik & Drobn  nothing. Willie

"andxsome banners or standards could have been created for special, occasions or purposes"     you are right Eric; All the literature I possess about Burgundian art in the days of the Dukes deals only with the flags of war, nothing on the other flags.

SEGOM also issued a figure with this banner and I do not think Jean Barrière would have issued it without a source
I will keep searching

I watched and reread my documentation and I did not find this type of banner.
Its architecture does not make one think of a banner of Burgundy, but ..... I do not have all the elements.

Here are the types of flags that I found:
The banner, a large rectangular heraldic banner.


The estandart, triangular standard with images of saints, heraldic emblems and proverbs.


The oblong rectangular cornette with emblems and images of saints.

Hi all
 I join here a picture of a figure painted by Walter Fisher long ago
It shows a St Christopher banner of the Burgundian period
Does anybody have informations about this banner ?
I search on the web and could not find any representation
I would like to paint it  but I need to know if it really existed or if it is only a Walter creation
