Michel, there is no definition to Master, standard etc. There is a Gold, silver and Bronze level. If you hit these standards, you get the appropriate medal. There is also Highly commended and commended badges. There are no limitations to the amount of medals available, so it is a good way to encourage artists, rather than the 3 medals only form.

It is definitely good to define, Zinnfiguren, Bas Relief and Misc. as separate classes

I think at Euro this year, most of the figures on the tables got some form of award.

Your coverage of Kulmbach was excellent.Also other European comps are covered so much better than Euromilitaire.You will be lucky to get the occasional photo in Military Modelling a nd say somebody such as Eric taking photos as he did last year.
Problem is nobody seems to want to cover the competion Euro organisers are more interested in the round figures.So does this mean the BFFS should show interest in their own country especially as they have their own magazine.
Sadly the UK is not up to the standard of our continental colleagues in putting on shows and reporting.We have some very talented painters here but do not promote enough copies of works again nobody seems bothered.
Perhaps the BFFS should look to their role after all one of their objects is to promote the hobby.Attending second rate comps in the UK doesnt fit the bill.
Euromilitaire is our only top class competion and is sadly ignored.Hopefully you will attend next year Michel and show us how to cover properly.

Thanks Brian, it is very useful.
Also, I see that British are very accurate, unlike continental competitions, to separate the bas reliefs, and flats from each others, which I ignored in my comments made earlier with Elizabeth Ist painting...
It should be considered aswell elsewhere.  Perhaps if the number is small, only one medal per catégory ( should be assignedat beginning.
Q: were there painter levels (beginners, masters, confirmed) in this list, or all mixed as one single catégory?
Indeed pictures would help to illustrate. flats are not proficient on other forums reporting. (I use to photograph them all systematically, but I was absent unfortunately...), the problem after is to link the name and author with the picture..., perhaps having a copy of jury's list (with ratings obliterated, linked to the identification on the work).

Correct me if I'm wrong but were the only 30mm figures to gain any recognition in the diorama class?

If I'm right does that mean there weren't any in the other classes or weren't they considered good enough?
