VERY, very cool, Jan.  8) 8) 8)

I am following with great interest. BTW, love the subject.

This is something I've wanted to do for a while; and you're laying it out beautifully.  Thanks.

OUTSTANDING! This a great idea and equally great execution. Are you going to paint the control cables directly onto the background piece?

Again, well done. Press on!

A friend of mine asked me how a have made my own flats

the explaining is simple
1 i am searching in the www or my art books for a example

For The Bike Lady i found these in the www

2 print it out on baking paper, i use the white versionits a little bit of trying for the right settings on the printer but its works

3 the putty i am using for the moment is SuperSculpey, it works also with other puttysi used a pasta machine to get the a real flat peace

3 i draw the figure by light pressure of a pencil on the print so i got a copy on the putty below

4 then i start to work out the drawing using several tools

5 it takes some time but while the putty re manse soft until you baking it, its no problem

6 the completed figure ready for baking

7 just painting now.The figure is 80 mm high and 2 mm thick

8 first painting after backing
