Wow, beautifully done John!  Love the scroll work and the detail of the horses braided mane.

The results begin to arrive...

The challenge - 8 figures were available to those interested in participating.  The only requirement was to paint it and share it with members online.

Neckel figure is based on Anton Hoffman’s Life Garde 1717 figure:

My bad too Glen - apologies.  Yes, it is a BFFS project meaning it lands in the Members area.

Did not realize this was causing confusion.

BFFS 2014 Project Thread is here:

http://www.intflatfigures.org/index.php?topic=845.0

It is appropriately commemerating 100 year anniversary of WWI.  You do however, need to supply your own figure for the effort, though I am sure if someone asks other members would be willing to share a figure for you to paint.

My campaign as Charles notes was just a private venture based on the fact I had multiple figures to share.  It has been an extremely successful venture given the results so far.

Oops. Sorry, I can't access the WW I thread link. I didn't realize it was for members only  :-[ . My bad.

Cheers,

Glen

Nearly  finished mine. Thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the nicest figures Ive painted.
Just the embroidery and carbine (which Im dreading!) left.
Fascinating to see how people are turning out brilliantly painted miniatures which are the same yet so different

This is a kind of private venture by Mark. He had a number of these figures and sent them out to those interested. The only deal was that you had to paint it and show it on the site.
The WW1 Project is for all members of the Society, but you provide your own figure and send it in to be included in a display which can be taken to shows etc. You can find that thread in the Members Only Forum under BFFS Projects.

I'm confused... Is the 2014 project the Blue King Army or the outbreak of WW I? I've followed the thread on the former, but I can't find a thread on the latter. I'm more than willing to participate, as I did with the ACW project, if someone can send the relevant figures.

Cheers,

Glen

Nicely done Mike, as always.  Interesting with the coloring - I have noticed there is some variation of several of these prints on the internet.  As Eric says maybe some variation per regiment.

I will gather the pictures in one post when complete which is a nice idea.  I also have opened a new gallery for them here as well:
