The show at Paris-Montrouge ended up yesterday ... signicantly less crowed than last year, less pieces exposed, but it occurred right in the middle of the Eastern holidays. It was also the hottest spot (Sun)day of the spring = 27°C (80°F) in Paris in the afternoon, between two weeks at 14°C (57°F)....
As far as the flats are concerned, 54 paintings were registered in Open competition by 29 artists against 79 (by 35 painters) last year ! (-30%)
Novices ...... 11 flats by 6 painters
Confirmed .. 20 flats by 11 painters
Masters ...... 21 flats and 1 miniature by 12 painters
Creation ...... 1 creation by one artist
