General  =  Laque Alizarin Crimson (OHC);
Highlight = with Titanium whit (OHC)
Shading   = Violet of Bayeux (Isaro); Indigo blue (W&N) and Prussian blue (W&N)

Isaro = Belgian brand (new)
OHC = Old Holland Classic
W&N = Winson & Newton

I am adding a conversion of the previous pic into SEPIA colour.  It removes the colours to keep their values only, so balance between lights and shadows !   It allows also to detect weaknesses and mistakes in these values, easier to see than in colours.

The best known Tatar in the USA is Charles Dennis Buchinsky, or Charles Bronson (1921-2003).
He was the 11th of 15 children born to a Tatar Lithuanian immigrant father and a Lithuanian-American mother.

I bought ten (10) oil painted Mongosl and Tatar warriors and decided to repaint them at today's standard.

This one is a Goldberg flat  Go 1343:

Original painting   =>   Brutto unpainting   =>   After preparation   =>   Primary painting




A second one is underway ...
