Actually I just happened have acquired those several years ago before the ones above them, though I do also have Neckel's large set of life in the harem which basically means I have a great deal of female flesh to paint...


May need some investigation to get the shadows correct etc.

A good chunk of Neckel's delightful figures of Roman Street scenes and in the Senate with Emperor.

Figures are all engraved by Ludwig Frank and show it - they are beautifully engraved and cast.


Gianpaolo's  site has a nice version of the Senate and Street scene painted by Douchkine which did get my attention:
