Thank you Eric, thats very kind :)
Which figures did you order Roger?
The WW1 cavalry looks very interesting and of course Wellingtons staff

Peter, I ordered a few of the Ancien Regime infantrymen and some of the staff of Louis XIV and very nice they are too.

Hi Peter
If you want to order from Christian Terana I can make an intermediary for you; he is a good friend of mine
Christian does not speaks english at all and does not accept Paypal
You can email me your order and I will send it to him
Then he will send the figures to you directly with the invoice, then you email me the invoice, I pay Christian and you refund me via Paypal just with one euro more to cover the paypal fees
At your disposal
Eric

If the engraving is as good as the drawings, they must be very nice.

A piece if information to those that might be interested.

The set "Generalstab Ludwig XIV - "Etat - major de Louis XIV" was produced by Otto Gottstein and mainly engraved by Otto Thieme. The figures nos LU 1-28 are by him. The smaller part LU 29-36 was engraved by Sixtus Maier Sr. Over the years some moulds were lost and replacement figures was engraved by Lepeltier. Krog made a set of his own based on the original drawings by Lucien Rousselot. The set by Krog was engraved by Rieger.

Now Eric, I see where you got your "Franck" from!

The catalog is just bursting with great figures! Hopefully, Christian will bring a large cross section of figures to Kulmbach.

Dear Eric, many thanks for linking the catalogue which is very helpful indeed. Does anybody know whether there are sets engraved by Frank or Sixtus Maier in this catalogue other than La Marseillaise and the Waterloo staff? Any experience with ordering from Terana? Thanks in advance.

Hi Oleg
I know that many of them are by Pépin but some by Otto Thieme, some by Franck, the Henry III throne by Bernard Vanot, and so...
I will ask Christian to tell me

The figures can be obtained :
Directly from Christian Terana, 31 Boulevard Kellermann, 75013 Paris (Christian does not speak English)
By sending me what you would like and I will forward
Christian could bring to Kulmbach the ordered figures (I will travel with him and rest at the same hotel)
I will ask him his price list (I think 1,40 euros a foot and 2,40 a horse, but I am not sure) and the way of payment from non euro countries
