This is exactly why I learned to work on my flat sculpting one section at a time - top, middle, bottom. Allow to cure. Repeat. That way, I wasn't dragging tools or hairy knuckles through freshly sculpted putty.

OK, here is a lesson to all, leant the hard way, but luckily easily fixed!!!

whilst I have spent the last month's painting St George and the Dragon, I have noticed that the fine detail on the Dragons head has gone grainy, and over this time I have retouched it up at least 3 times.

Tonight I realised the detail on the reins was also grainy and slightly out of focus! so I retouched it up and went onto the lance.
after finishing it, again the detail on the reins had grained!!

It eventually  :-[ :-[ dawned on me what was wrong!!!! whilst painting I was resting my hand it >:( >:( >:(

By using Sansador, a medium like turps, I have managed to wipe off the paint on the reins :'(

dip the brush in the Sansador, then touch it onto a piece of kitchen paper and slowly wipe off the paint, keep dipping and wiping until you are back to the original paint.

I will now let it dry and tomorrow I will repaint it

These things are all part of the coarse and as long as you don't let it wind you up, easily rectified.

see, however expert one may be, we all suffer our little problems :o   ;D ;D ;D

so  lesson No1   never give up, it will always work out in the end, it may just take longer!!!  :D
