Night of May 1st when the witches meet on the Blacksburg and wreak havoc.
The last of the large sets engraved by Mohr I have sought for some time - it is not generally hard to find on Ebay but, it is very popular and so finding at your price can be a challenge.

I am drawn to the humor and inventiveness of the engraving but, these figures from Walter Fisher pushed me over the edge as they are extraordinarily well painted.

Jim Woodley in his excellent series on Mohr figures 6.10 has this interesting tidbit - figure 53 - row 2 figure 5 - 'The Inquisitive Traveller, is a self portrait of Mohr himself. He stands holding a pistol to his head, umbrella under his left arm, in which hand he holds a carpet bag with the initials K.M. He is dressed only in a top-hat, boots and a strategically placed binocular case.'
