This is very sad news. I've had many great exchanges with him over the years, and he was an excellent painter and teacher. He will be missed. RIP old friend. Condolences to his family and to the figure community. A big loss to us all.

We mourn our long-time friend "Conny", who has left us.
Our sincere condolences go out to his wife, children and grandchildren.
