Thank you Michael - I shall present my overall production of the Ochel Mohacs figures - I think even on the upcoming weekend.

Jan,
I think you pointed on something about the light-angle I did not hit properly?
Any further clarification would be welcome.

With friendly regards - and thank you all for your interest in my post:

Dear Sandor,

Another thing you might consider is to give your Richelieu figur a push forward as it now has a wrong angel.

Hallo Sandor,
I saw the diorama of Mohacs in the former austrian flat museum of Pottenbrunn near Vienna in the
middle of the 80´s. There were a lot of figures in the old "Fabrikbemalung".  I thing austrian collectors
let them produce by Ochel.

Thank you Michael for the hints - I know these figures of Erika and plane to buy them.
She has beautiful figures: I am just in the finish of the 16 pieces Mohacs cavaliers set. I shall start the very last one this evening.

Hallo Sandor,
If you´re interested in old flats and the time of Louis XIII there are Ochel-figures of musketeers at
www.kieler-zinnfiguren.de (Liste 30-jähriger Krieg) 248a-259c.
You can paint a escorte for Richelieu in red and for Louis XIII in blue.
If you have some figures, you can build a nice Diorama in a frame.
Look at Google under "Objektrahmen", there are many frames.

Best regards

Michael

Thank you for your comments Eric, I shall consider them.

Also thanks for your help considering the Luis XIII figure - I have written in the meantime to Mr. Terana.

Hi Sandor
The figure's not bad  :) :)
I just think you still have to work lights and shadows on the red cloak mainly by deepening the inside of the folds

Hi Sandor,

As Hon. Secretary I feel I must apologise to you for seems like a lack of Interest. I can assure you this is not the case.

As Mark and Charles have both pointed out, we were doing a BFFS special event within the largest  modelling show in England, and because of this a lot of members have been there and are still on their way home.
We are always interested in seeing figures, whether they be 30,45,60, or even 200mm.It inspires us all to paint more, so please do not be offended, I am sure you will get a good response to your figures as they are very nice. 30 mm are little gems, infact today I bought Mohr's The Broom Seller, it is wonderfully engraved and will be a pleasure to paint.

So please do ' Keep them coming '        Nicholas

No, not a closed shop at all. I'm delighted to see a 30mm Mignot. I have a few of the historical figures among my Mignots, but not painted any yet.  I would like to see some more.
Mark is right about many of the members, there is a large show this weekend and many will be there away from their computers.

Sandor the site is just a bit quiet at the moment, a good part of our European friends are at the Model Engineer Show in England.  Everyone - new comers included - are always welcome.

As to Richelieu it is a beautiful find.  I seem to recall Eric with two other renditions of the figure recently as well.  That is my favorite time period - France Louis XIII - Louis XV - with a number of figures to choose from.
