Having been at this seminarI can say it was interesting.I still prefer an Acrylic base as the depth of colour is better than straight onto the primed White finish.
My freind Dave is now progressing his Cossacks in a boat.Dave is also looking forward to Nick Balls demo.
Also discussed was the forthcomming speed painting competition.

A friend who has tried a few times to paint flats, never getting the results to spur him on to another figure Dave Salter and I went to see what he was doing.

The photo shows 1 to 2 hours from a primed figure to a result he was happy with as a start in oils, when we left he had already started another figure using the few techniques we had show him but told him to take more time.

Similar will be at EuroMilitaire  showing the beginner the basics on the BFFS tables, so if your there and want to have a go just ask.
