Have a chance of buying the huge Zeppelin landing set but have no idea about this set! can anyone help with details of how many pieces in the set and rough price I should pay?
-
Technically, it didn't land, it sort of crashed! ;)

Hi Brian
This is what I found
It is a Retter set (now Dangelmaïer)
No idea of the price

Nice one Eric, are you holidaying in Australia? It's just that the photo's are upside down!!! :o
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Sorry ! My scan does not rectify my mistakes :-[
-
The top of my head hurts! There must be an easier way to view the photo?
-
This is one of the reasons I am drawn to Flats is the range and unusual nature of them at times. This looks quite fun.

P.S. One does wonder how it found it's way to Australia though...

Thanks for the photos Eric, yes it is the Retter set and I believe it was not available outside Germany due to the size and post, apparently the moulds where destroyed and is no longer available but I could be mistaken ;)
And upside down! easy turn the monitor the other way :o
-
Being in the Northern Hemisphere I fixed Eric's photos to save members from further neck injuries.

I like the ground crew part of the set and I was thinking :o Some years ago, there was a wargames web page from Texas that had an article on how to make a Zeppelin out of large Soda bottles. Only thing is you will need some room :P Willie
