More old figures here, designs of 1881. They're game pieces, from a boardgame for kids featuring the gods and heroes of the Trojan Wars. The game was played on a 9x9 board, Greeks vs. Trojans. 23 figures per side: 10 "pawns", 3 mounted heroes and 5 heroes on foot with their 5 patron gods and goddesses. Hence the color coded bases. I've painted a few of them, in acrylics as always.

As usual I love these figures and your way of painting them
I have the 40mm trojan war set which also is of a very high quality, with realistic design and very good engraving

Is that set still available?

Thanks very much, Eric. And a belated Happy Birthday to you as well, my friend.
Kevin, good question. According to the latest Heinrichsen list, no. However, it never hurts to ask. Brigitte Grobe is great to deal with and more than once when a set has shown as no longer available she has been able to come up with something for me.

Indeed - very nicely painted!
