Here is a little scene I started some months ago
It is made with Mignot figures, gathered in two little groups, and a Kieler figure for the officer
It tooks a little time because the Mignot are not very well engraved and cast and uniforms are complex
I also wanted to paint different grey horses to make the scene more colourful
Well, at the end, I like it !!! :) :) :) :)
Oil, 30mm

That's a lovely scene Eric, the variation in grey tones for the horses and the addition of the groundwork make it very realistic.
Funnily enough I spotted this forthcoming title from Osprey yesterday,

Yes keeping all the colours uniform makes it a really nice display.

Terrific work there, Eric. 8)
That came out exceptionally well. I like what you did with the base too. I'm usually not so keen on flocked bases for flats but your treatment really suits this group.
