Title: artillery for 30 Years War
Post by: atelierrobin on April 04, 2025, 09:01:55 AM
Hello Folk!

I am a new guy.
Can anyone help with this challenge. I am wanting to get hold of any form of artillery suitable for the 30 Years War. I have a good selection from Diez purchased from Berliner Zinnfiguren, and was just wondering if there were any other sources of vollplastiche models.
I don't seem to be able to locate anything. I like Diez, but I would be happy with a bit more variety if such exists.

Cheers

ROB

Hello Rob
I am not sure if the models are still available, cause Mr. Kovar passed away some years ago.But as far as I know Mr. Urbanke has now the molds. Maybe you get the models from him. Here are two links.

Herr Bock those are not quite what I wanted but thanks anyhow.
Gerhard- that was a line of enquiry full of possibilities, Thanks.

I thought many ranges of Zinnfiguren went with wargaming style guns and equipment

Hey Ho

Thanks

Neckel had a number of very nice 'flat' artillery pieces but, they do not seem to respond to emails any longer so I am not sure of their status.  You might also try Kilia/Ocel - I seem to remember them having a few artillery pieces and some quite nice figures though helpfully they are reworking their website at the moment...

Good luck on this!
