Lovely Nick
its payed off for all the hours youve been on him! nice vibraint pallette mate! ;)
-
I enjoyed the journey and the end result is beautiful.
Well done Nick & Eric. ;)
-
The figure is really very nice
One could only regret the rather flat hair of the horse; but you can do nothing for that, it is the engraving
Roger thanks to associate me to Nick, but I have no responsability at all in the result; it's all Nick !!

It's just a little joke with Nick Eric. :)
-
Thank you all.
The hair does look slightly flat ( this was Eric's department ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ) but it may be just the photo with the light ;)
With the mane, I may try to curve the edge slightly, this could help, and darken the rear of the tail a bit more to pull it back
Overall I don't feel it's that bad an effort ;D ;D ;D

Nick
that is quite large cinema!!!! :) ;D ;D
-
Now that's a brilliant idea, Wolfgang, I'll get a pair of those 3D glasses from that nice Cinema company Miramax, that should help!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Very well done, Nick. This is a great figure and you've done it justice. Congrats!
-
Thank you Patrick, it is a great figure to paint, which makes it a lot easier.
-
It came out quite well, Nick. I actually like it better in the photo with the wooden backdrop.

Thank you, C.T. Yes. I suppose it's because of the depth of the bookcase that you get the better 3D effect.
the one disadvantage of putting flat figure's into frame's :'(
