Hello
I recently bought the figures shown on the attachments.
Can anyone identify the Maker, Editor, Designer, Engraver or offer any information.
I have been collecting for many years and cannot remember seeing these figures before.
No identifying marks just small triangular supports.
Any information appreciated
Many Thanks
Bob

Dear Bob,
yes I saw this lot at ebay which is a bit puzzling.
I believe these are mostly Heinrichsen conversion or just differently painted flats as some are meant to be 7-years-war hussars as it is for the guy taking the beer from the cantiniere who was meant to be a 1756 prusssian hussar originally.
Best regards

Dear Bob,
I was too fast :
from the set : first figure at top is Mignot, second and other similar probably from the Heinrichsen Guard Artillery set, then in between a Thiel line chasseur in overcoat,
second row : horse (don´t know), then Heinrichsen Guard Artillery, Scholtz Retreat conversion, Thiel (hat), Heinrichsen hussar conversion, Heinrichsen staff
Best regards
Alexander

Dear Alexander
Thanks for your reply, I thought that there was some Heinrichsen in the mix but simply bought them because I thought that they were unusual, and most important I liked them.
You may have seen that their was a second grouping also on E bay, which I bought to bulk up the first.
I guess that these will prove to be from various makers, perhaps a mix of figures etc. and perhaps in its own way unique.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated
Kindest regards

Dear Bob,
no problem, I was too lazy to check when I had a look at that auction but now…
so here is the original group and it is a conversion not just differently painted to my opinion

This is representative of one of the things I love about the world of flats.
Who needs to pore through catalogs or the ability to perform vast searches of data when between Alexander and Eric we have someone who is able to identify most of the flats ever engraved...
We need to start a stump the panel section to see if we can find something unidentifiable...
mark 8)
P.S. Though I confess to having used their services as well. Always nice to know who you are painting.

I can't believe these guys were able to ID those figures!

Dear Alexander
Thanks for your picture, you can see that it is basically the same figures.
Thanks very much for your help
