This years show was very quiet, how the clubs can breakeven I just don't know, but a few photos one with the guys and me looking well fed up which is how thing are at the moment )-;

Blimey Guys I'm the only one Smiling!! :o :o :D :D :D  yes it was a quiet show but still good,
as welling always is! congrats to Frank collins and Nick on there medals!

It's good to catch up with familiar faces.

The Competition tables were not well supported, but the flats section was, which is good news :)

Shows are struggling here, not really sure why. In Europe they are still going strong, which is good news.

In Europe there seems to be a younger contingent keeping the hobby alive - over here? - I think the last image says it all...

I Know it looks like a tea dance at an old folks home  but as they say, where young at heart 8) ??? ::) ;D
no seriously i think its all ages in Europe,  they just seem to have more Go in them then we do!!! :o :o
and  really put a lot more in to there shows,! so its really not an age thing as far as i can see! just more get up and go!!

When I spoke to one of the organisers of a large Dutch show, he explained that they are more than happy to travel 2-4 hours to get to shows, as it is more a meeting of friends most weekends!!

Their hotel rates are also far friendlier and affordable too. £25-£30 a night.   

I have just booked a hotel for the AGM and Figureworld, at £80 a night!!! And this is the cheapest!!!!  even the so called cheapies ( Travel Lodge and Premier Inn)  were coming in at £120!!! ( even though the advert says £29 per night!!! )
