Don't know if Alexander has already posted and I missed it or if I am being inappropriate for me to mention this but, Alexander has posted a preview of very impressive new sets, another must have for me!

I saw them on his site the other day, superb dynamic drawings. I'm not a great Napoleonic fan, but they are tempting. And this kind of set is why 30mm will always be my favourite.

Yes very very nice drawings. :)

These are very good, full of life and maybe a little flat figure supplier in the UK will have them in stock after Kulmbach as well as some of Alexander's other sets ;) ;)

Dear all,
no I didnĀ“t post anything about this new set. But I have now translated the text I started to do for the "Zinnfigur" already.
This set can be used from 1812 onwards but is primarily thought for Borodino. At this battle a 6 gun battery Bavarian Horse Artillery under command of Captain Widumann (as part of 4. Corps of Eugene de Bauharnais) had to be set off at galopp in full flight. The entire combat and this flight in full galopp (rarely to find with artillery units) is confirmed from the fairly detailed description in the Regimental history of this unit.
The Russian General Uwarov was at noon attacking the left flank of the French Army and this battery lost three guns to the Elisavetgrad Hussars who attacked together with the first Russian Guard Division (Guard Cossacks, Guard Hussars, Guard Dragoons and Guard Lancers). They overun the light Italian Cavalry and some Bavarian Chevaulegers and caused some havoc but without being finally successful.
The Russian Hussars have already been done in 2014.
The new set will be available quite soon, probably from about May or June from Berliner Zinnfiguren and from a private englishman as well.
I hope to be able showing a painted set at Kulmbach.
Best regards
Alexander
