Nice Cheyenne Dog Soldier . Ok why green pants? In all the pictures I have seen and the real articles never any green. Now not saying there might have been green used. If you fined out let me know Willie  nice job.

Hey Willie. You know it is possible he had them ordered through the 1873 Sears- Roebuck catalogue  :)

Yes. You might be right that catalogue has been used for a lot of things in the 19th and 20 century  ::)  Willie

Very nicely painted Davide, the bearskin and the horse are particularly good.

Nicely done Davide!

Willie, why not green? Were the mineral or plant dyes not available? Was there a religious taboo? Or, failing that, could they not have traded for green cloth?

I was thinking of an NA pin-up babe wearing green and brown buckskin, but now I'm wondering...
