Title: Reichswehr and Kfz 13
Post by: Guynemer on March 03, 2014, 09:05:41 AM
Hi all!

Not my usual subject but a nice change from the usual. Here are two Kieler Reichswehr figures and a Kfz 13 Adler armoured car by Heinz Mitzkat (many thanks to Richard for identifying it!)

They're painted in acrylics. Like my previous test figure for 1870, I attempted to give them the same heavy lighting direction from the front for contrast. Let me know what you think of it. The armoured car has some modification; the barrel was replaced with a styrene rod of the correct scale length, and the mounted figure isn't part of the original cast. Determining the light on the angled armour was a bit of a challenge, can't say I'm entirely happy with it.

In the background are more such figures waiting to be liberated of Oki painting  ;)

Hope you like them! Bani

Actually Bani, I quite like the style of the infantrymen, the effect is neat.
The vehicle doesn't look flat either, keep going with those.
