Title: Hamel
Post by: errant49 on February 05, 2014, 08:40:54 AM
Not many novelties in this category so I add some figures painted by Hamel, a flat painter of the first part of the XXth century, and maybe up to the 50ies
His way is near Alexandre's one but not so detailed
The 30YW is from Charles Felix Keller collection, bought at Drouot
The XVIII° (cavalry at charge) was bought on EBay; I feel it like Hamel's, but ...?

Eric,
I am pleased to see orginal characters from the estate of Felix Keller.
He was one of the most active companion of the new flat tin figure beside Otto Gottstein.
Thank you for showing your treasures. :o :o :o :o
